SWANVILLE — Thirteen boats, decorated with stars, stripes and touches of whimsey, paraded around the perimeter of Swan Lake and competed for prizes early Monday afternoon in the annual Fourth of July Swan Lake Boat Parade.
Passengers in the crafts — mostly large party boats — waved hands and flags, calling out “Happy Fourth of July!” to spectators on shore.
