HRS Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary at 10 Ryan Road has a meadow full of wildflowers. Plenty of trails to walk, sit in a chair and bring a picnic to enjoy. The birds are also beautiful there. There are plenty of trails in Stockton Springs, including the Sandy Point Beach, Fort Point Light, Main Stream Preserve off Sherer Road, and of course, great trails nearby on Sears Island. Summer is definitely here, so there’s plenty to do outdoors now.

Thought for the week: “Summer means happy times and good sunshine. It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun.” — Brian Wilson
