BELFAST — Two local recitals and two chamber music concerts are on tap for the 56th season of the Bar Harbor Music Festival in Belfast series. All performances take place in the Gammans Room at Belfast Free Library, 106 High St.

Pianist Antonio Galera Lopez puts on an all-Spanish music program Sunday, July 10, at 4 p.m. The celebrated Ardelia Trio performs a program of Mozart, Sophia Serghi, Frank Bridge, and Smetana Sunday, July 17, at 4 p.m. The trio is made up of Janey Choi on violin, Clara Yang on cello, and Jihea Hong-Park on piano. On Sunday, July 24, pianist Kayoung An performs music by Handel, Debussy and Brahms at 4 p.m. She returns by popular demand after a triumphant debut solo recital and Mozart Concerto performance last summer. Among many other awards, An was first prize winner at the New York International Artists Association Piano Competition and her performance with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra evoked such praise as “passionate,” “expressive,” “bold” and “sensitive.” Flutist Allison Kiger and friends close out the Belfast leg of the festival Sunday, July 31, at 4 p.m. with “French charm and jazz.”

All performances comply with CDC guidelines. Tickets at the door are $20 adults, $10 students. For more information and tickets, visit belfastmaine.org, call (207) 338-5900 or email chamberoffice@belfastmaine.org.
