Integrity, compassion, intelligence — all of these are words that do not often spring to mind when pondering our representatives in Augusta. I feel truly grateful, then, that we have Jan Dodge as our representative in the Maine State House.
She is a woman of conscience who listens to people on both sides of any issue. She does not bully, abuse or denigrate anyone. She has endorsements from the Sierra Club, the Maine People’s Alliance, the Maine Education Association, in addition to a 100% voting record with Planned Parenthood.
In these troubled times, we can look to Rep. Dodge for civility and wisdom. She has my vote. If you live in Belfast, Belmont or Northport, you, too, can vote to reelect Rep. Dodge to stand for the interests of people in District 39 and for all Mainers.
