Hello All,

Wow, this heat and humidity can leave anytime. It seems it is hot and humid always extremely when we wish for less. Crops are growing, but we welcome rain. My few plants are doing OK. Had some green beans, broccoli and cauliflower given to me. Love the fresh veggies.

New sign; barbecue

The Legion Post 50 in Unity has erected a new sign and it looks very nice at the end of the driveway on Windemere Lane. I saw it recently, very nice and much-needed. Thanks to all who made it happen.

Also, congrats on the SAL that was recently active after many years. Always need the help and support from all. The Ladies Auxiliary is active, too. A barbecue will be hosted on Saturday, Aug. 13, 12 noon. Ladies will have a yard sale at 11 a.m. Please check this out.

Until next time,

Never give up, great things take time. Time is precious, make memories. Here today, maybe gone tomorrow. Enjoy the little things in life as they can truly be big things. Be kind.
