WINTERPORT — A juvenile was stabbed July 28 at 215 Main St. in Winterport, according to Maine State Police. There were two 16-year-olds involved in the incident, which happened around 8:30 p.m.
The minor was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries but medical professionals were able to stabilize the minor shortly after arrival at the hospital, according to the State Police.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no danger to the public, police said. The victim is recovering at home.
