SEARSPORT — Erica Brown and Matt Shipman, long-time friends of Searsport Shores and the Maker’s Guild of Maine, perform Sunday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 5:45 p.m. on the main stage at Searsport Shores Ocean Campground to benefit the guild’s musical program.

Erica Brown and the Bluegrass Connection is a five-piece bluegrass band based out of Portland, featuring renowned Maine fiddler Erica Brown on fiddle and vocals, Matt Shipman on mandolin, Lincoln Meyers on guitar, Eli Gilbert on banjo and Kris Day on bass. The public is welcome, but please leave pets at home. Snacks and beverages will be available; donations requested on a sliding scale beginning at $5/person.

“One of the best fiddlers in Maine … the kind of musician who gives musicians a good name,” said Darol Anger, world-renowned fiddler, composer, producer and educator.

Searsport Shores is located at 216 W. Main St. The main stage is a sheltered outdoor venue with open seating. For more information, email or call (207) 548-6059.
