BROOKS — The following is news from the Country View Golf Club:

On Wednesday, Aug. 3, in the two-person scramble league, first was secured by the duo of David Clark and Cody Raven, while second went to Dave Wakefield and Steve Nelson, third to Corey Cyr and Joe Cyr and fourth to Leanne Brown and Bob Brown. Pins: Gary Snowden on the fourth hole and Bud Rivers on the ninth.

On Friday, Aug. 5, in the weekly mixed scramble, the winning foursome was Greg Reed, Clarence Tripp, Josh Tripp and Wayne Merrifield. Pins: Terry Whitcomb on the fourth and ninth.
