BELFAST — Belfast Police Department arrested four people during an investigation into illicit drugs following a 911 call Aug. 4 at 1:30 p.m., according to a Belfast Police Department press release.

Bridget Sawyer, 29, of Bucksport was arrested for possession of a scheduled drug and violation of bail conditions. Seminole Littlefield, 46, of Belfast was charged with trafficking scheduled drugs and violating bail conditions. Dakotah Simpson, 21, of Swanville was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear. Jessica Lee, 35, of Washington was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

The initial call was about a suspicious person in the woods near Park Hill Road and Route 3, according to the press release. Officers saw the woman acting “peculiar” in the road when they responded to the call, describing her behavior as appearing to be under the influence of narcotics and that she had a needle in her hand.

The woman told officers she bought drugs from Littlefield at a house at 361 Belmont Ave., according to the press release. Based on what she told officers, the department, Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and “Maine Drug” searched the property through a search warrant.

Officers found cocaine and fentanyl, along with other narcotics, drug paraphernalia and cash from drug sales, according to the press release.
