BELFAST — Clayton “Jack” L. Vose of Belfast passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 21, 2022, with his loving wife Cam and family by his side.

Jack was a devoted law enforcement officer with Belfast Police Department for many years before his retirement.

Jack was an outgoing person who loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf and basketball with friends and family. He had a big heart, a caring soul and a huge smile.

Jack is survived by the love of his life, wife Camilla P. Vose, and her two children, David and Kristin Tripp and Cynthia and Bruce Cook; his sister Patty and Ronald Murray; two stepbrothers, Mark and Sharron Hamilton, and Brian and Kathy Hamilton. He is further survived by a niece, Lisa Murray, and a nephew, Leslie and Heidi Murray, as well as multiple grandchildren.

Jack was predeceased by his father, Clayton L. Vose, and mother, Dorothy Widdecombe Vose Hamilton; his son Timothy C. Vose; a stepfather, Wilbur Hamilton; and his brother, Wayne Vose. Jack will forever be missed.

A family graveside memorial will follow at a later date.
