SEARSPORT — The 22nd annual Fling into Fall offers fun, food, frolic and fireworks in downtown Searsport Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8.

Here’s what’s in store:

Friday, Oct. 7

2 to 6 p.m. – Scarecrow decorating and carved pumpkin delivery to the crescent at Penobscot Marine Museum.

4 p.m. – House decorating judging at houses and businesses around town.

Sunset – Luminaries at the crescent at Penobscot Marine Museum.

6 to 8 p.m. – Bonfire and live music with Anni and the Rainmakers, Public Safety Building, 3 Union St.

Saturday, Oct. 8

9 a.m. – Auction on the lawn at Searsport Methodist Church, 43 E. Main St.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Car and craft show at Searsport High School, 24 Mortland Road.

10 a.m. – Costume and bike decorating at Mermaid Plaza, 1 E. Main St.

11 a.m. – Incredible Main Street parade.

Noon – Lunch from local vendors. Children’s activities at the Public Safety Building, including games, bounce houses, hand painting, caricatures and more!

Noon to 5 p.m. – Lobster boat tours from Hamilton Wharf.

12:30 p.m. – Chili, chowder and best apple pie competitions.

1 p.m. – Historic walking tour with Town Historian Charlene Knox Farris starting at the Searsport First Congregational Church, 8 Church St.

1 to 3 p.m. – Touch-a-Truck at the Full Gospel Church parking lot at 71 E. Main St.

4:30 p.m.  – Concert at Mosman Park.

6:30 p.m. – Fireworks at Mosman Park.
