Hello All,

Well, I hope you didn’t get blown away from all the wind and rain we had. We only lost our power on this road for an hour. The leaves are still clinging on, and so pretty right now. I love the brilliant colors. The maples are very pretty right now. Fall time — it goes too quickly by.

Birthdays

Happy 14th birthday to Hannah Greeley! Happy birthday to Carol Mishou-Pierpont!

Congrats

We are sending congrats to Coaches Frank Drew and Darren and Kelsea Doughty for their team, Knox Pirates. The mini-mites team of 10 soccer players had an undefeated season. The round robin tournament was held Saturday at Larrabee Field.

The players are Bode Albright, Lincoln Daly, Mason Daly, Ryan Daly, Arianna Doughty, Destinee Doughty, Travis Finley, Fulton Fowler, Ryan Larrabee and Payson Ripley. Way to go kids, you learned a lot and played hard. Thanks to all for making this season possible for our kids. Here’s a season summary from Jen Larrabee:

The Knox Pirates started out the season getting into the swing of things, learning different positions, communicating and having fun. The Pirates quickly became family! They all learned where to be and when to be there, how to talk, laugh and just enjoy the game. A team favorite was the cookies after every game.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, the team participated in a Waldo County-wide youth soccer tournament at Larrabee Field, hosted by the Knox Booster Club. Approximately 750 people attended. The Pirates ended their season with an undefeated tournament day and season! To say they are proud is an understatement! Way to go, Knox Pirates! They all worked so hard for this!

Until next time,
