SEARSPORT — In need of gift-making supplies? Looking to pick up a new skill this winter? Just generally in love with crafting? Make your way to Carver Memorial Library’s Craft Stash Sale on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Searsport Community Building, 42 Prospect St.

The library’s first-ever Craft Stash Sale will focus on quilting, knitting, sewing, and crochet materials and supplies. There are even some quilts and almost-finished projects. Searsport residents have donated unused material from their stashes, and the library will sell it at bargain prices! Quality materials are specially priced, and there will be a super-bargain Fill-a-Bag table.

The Stash Sale benefits Carver Memorial Library. Funds raised will support library programs such as its DIY and Take and Make kits. Library Director Sue McClintock says the library is grateful to all its volunteers, donors and shoppers for making this event possible.

For more information, call the library at 548-2303 or email staff@carverlibrary.org. Carver Memorial Library is located at 12 Union St., corner of Mortland Avenue, in Searsport.
