LIBERTY — Cynthia “Cindy” Billings, 70, passed away at Waldo County General Hospital on Oct. 9, 2022. She was born in Appleton8 on June 22, 1952, the daughter of Stella (Esancy) Sukeforth and Howard Sukeforth Sr.

Cindy graduated from Camden High School, worked at Penobscot Poultry Plant for many years and then waitressed at numerous diners in the area.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Richard Eggen; her oldest daughter, Angel; her only son, Calvin; her brother Howard “Howdy” Jr. and her sister Loretta.

She is survived by husband James “Jim” Billings of Liberty; daughter Amy Bragg (Dave) of China; son-in-law Andy Brown of Portland; grandchildren Devon and partner Brianna, Kendra and partner Branden, Dylan and wife Nicole, Brooke, Sabrina, Trevor and Nickolas; great-grandchildren Kali, Brady, Lennox, Reagan and Landry; stepchildren James Billings and Jason Billings, both of Massachusetts, and Breezie White of Arizona; sisters Barbara Ludwig (Sonny) of Washington, Maine; Rhoda Freeman (Frank) of Zephyrhills, Fla.; Regina Kennard (Arthur) of Milo; Gwendolyn Braley (Karl) of Hinesville, Ga.; and Ruth Bowman (Donald) of Washington, Maine; brother-in-law Walter (Mary) Stinson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She also leaves behind her beloved companion “Princess Diane” whom she loved so much.

There will be a celebration of life at South Liberty Church on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m.
