FREEDOM — The Freedom Community Historical Society will hold its annual virtual auction beginning Sunday, Oct. 23, and continuing until Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. Proceeds will be used to further the restoration and renovation of historic Keen Hall.

The auction can be accessed at biddingforgood.com/freedomme.

Since the society’s last auction, the interior of Keen Hall has been repaired and is ready for construction. The exterior has received a new front porch and retaining walls.

Results of a recent energy audit will be factored into continuing renovation efforts. Once completed, Keen Hall will be used as a community center, historical archive site, museum and a place for local businesses to share, available to all Waldo County residents.
