BELFAST — The Belfast Senior Center will hold a benefit sale of “Senior Treasures” and holiday items with a silent auction on Friday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Belfast Boathouse.

Area seniors are parting with many items they have bought over the years that are in new or excellent condition, including, but not limited to decorator pieces, craft items, custom jewelry, clothing, decorations for all the holidays, practical items, puzzles, videos, cookbooks, and more.

The silent auction table includes special items and gift cards donated by local businesses including gasoline, dining, book and video, auto, florist, clothing and shoes, hardware, foot care and more. Bidders need not be present when the bids are closed; winners will be notified by phone.

Payment is by cash or check only.

Admission is free. The building is located on the waterfront at the foot of Commercial Street, and is ADA accessible.

All proceeds go to benefit the Belfast Senior Center, a 501(c)(3) organization serving area seniors age 60 and older.
