Pop-Up Bookstore features local authors

BELFAST — A one-day-only Pop-Up Bookstore will be offered by Locally Grown Books Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Playhouse on Church Street across from the police station. A wide variety of books will be on sale by local authors, including fiction, poetry, memoir, children’s books, history, hybrid, cards and handmade journals. There will be book signings, refreshments and pop-up readings all day.

Authors who will be present are Linda Buckmaster, Suzanne d’Coursey, Elizabeth Garber, Ellen Sander, Deb Shepherd, Karin Spitfire and Penny West. Locally Grown Books is a loose cooperative of writers in the Midcoast who come together to sell their books.
