December already. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The Community Dinner was marvelous. Tons of delicious foods and desserts were made possible by a lot of hard work. Many thanks to the team for all your efforts.

Prior to dinner, Susan Champa was presented with a special award for “going above and beyond the call of duty.” Very well deserved since she is involved in just about every fundraiser and entertainment in Brooks. Congratulations!

Christmas is fast approaching. Please plan to attend the Country Christmas Concert held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Congregational Church, The event begins at 3 p.m. and is followed by a soups and breads dinner at the Varney Memorial Building. The music is beautiful; you will love it.

Just a reminder that the last day Ralph’s Café will be open for the season is Sunday, Dec. 18.
