SEARSMONT — The Muzzy Ridge Concert Series will return for a third year in Searsmont. Robert and Vicki Sirota, hosts of the popular series, have announced confirmation of their summer line up, which will begin in August.

The chamber music concert series is held at the Sirota’s home studio in Searsmont, and the 2023 series includes a Grammy nominee.

Concert dates will be Aug. 19 and 20 with two additional performances Aug. 26 and 27. Performers will include the Fischer Duo and the Neave Trio.

The Neave Trio has been nominated for a 2023 Grammy Award in the category of Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. They will play at Muzzy Ridge Aug. 27 and 28.

The Sirotas will also host a preview, reception and fundraiser at their Muzzy Ridge performance studio Friday, Dec. 16, at 5 p.m. Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, holiday beverages and the musical offerings of Robert and Vicki Sirota. Donations are $50 and tax deductible, and all go toward paying the performers for the upcoming Muzzy Ridge Concert Series.

The Muzzy Ridge Concerts began in 2021, the brainchild of Robert, a composer, and his wife Vicki, a musician.

“Vicki and I started Muzzy Ridge Concerts not knowing how the idea of putting on summer performances in our home studio would be received,” Robert said. “It has really taken hold, the first two seasons have been a great success, attracting a growing and enthusiastic audience.”
