Hello Monroe!

Ethan, Oliver, Nolan and I went exploring the other morning and found the perfect Christmas tree out back. It is in and lit, and the ornaments are hung. I give Oliver credit; he hung a couple dozen for me and scattered them nicely along the bottom few feet of the tree. I’ve seen other children try and hang them all from just one or two limbs! It has been fun to hear Oliver exclaim, “Look at our pretty tree!” when he wakes up and rediscovers it each morning in the living room.

Cribbage tournament

Sign-ups for the Monroe Country Store cribbage tournament are taking place through the end of December. Tournament play will be in January 2023. The winner of the tournament will receive a gift certificate to the Monroe Country Store.

Once sign-ups have concluded, players will be matched and work together to agree upon the date and time to meet at the store and play. For more information, stop into the store or call 525-3300. What a great way to get out and about some in the month of January and maybe win a sweet prize while you’re at it!
