UNITY — Paintings and drawings by Amy Gagnon are on display at Unity Public Library, 38 School St., during the month of January, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a public opening reception Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the library.
Gagnon’s current work is inspired by local history, flora and fauna, and landscapes around the Sebasticook. Gagnon works in oils and watercolors, studying traditional painting techniques. She also does nature journaling, printmaking and mural painting.
