BELFAST — Maverick Mitchell Dyer-Sturtevant entered the world Sunday, Jan. 1, at 1:11 p.m. as the first baby born in Waldo County in the New Year.
Parents are Kelci Dyer and Travis Sturtevant. Their baby boy, born in Waldo County General Hospital, weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 20 inches long.
The state of Maine’s first baby of 2023 was born to a Waldoboro couple at Lincoln Health in Damariscotta. Jude Owen Dow was born at 12:44 a.m. on Jan. 1 to parents Kasey and Zachary Dow of Waldoboro.
