Hello All,

Another week has gone past. We are having warmer weather than normal for this time of year. I’m glad.
Got my two new doors both on and cellar way doors replaced. A good job done. Thankful.

A very happy 98th birthday to Emma Elwell. May she have a great day.

A happy birthday to Gabe Doughty on Jan. 20. Growing up too fast.

Fire in Montville

The garage fire in Montville recently was at Kal and Shannon Keithan’s place on Route 220. Total loss. So sorry for the loss. Thankfully the house was saved. There is a GoFundMe on Facebook to help them out.  Casie Dyer is doing this. To donate directly, contact her as well in Unity.

Chicken Barbecue coming up

On Feb. 12, 11a.m.-2 p.m., at the Snowdusters Clubhouse, Fisher Road in Unity. An online auction by Lori Nason is ongoing. A couple of quick items were auctioned off, a cheesecake and a chicken pot pie. Yummy. The funds raised will help the club out with expenses. Check it out on Facebook, or contact Lori for info. Let’s help support this event. The barbecue  meal will have chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, roll, drink and dessert. She is doing prepaid meals, too.

Off to the races

Darren and Damian Doughty and Will Overlock are at Eagle River, Wisconsin, at the Derby Complex, 22nd Vintage World Championship races. They went to have fun at this big event. Lucas Nast and his crew also are there racing. Good luck to all. Be safe. Let’s hear about some wins.

To make a difference in someone’s life you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care. Be kind always.

Phone calls

Remembering me recently with phone calls were Emma Wells and Judy Barton. Nice ladies. Always good to hear from folks.

Fuel assistance

A lot of folks are frustrated they haven’t received their allotment for winter fuel yet. Apparently they are running behind with processing the applications.

Until next time,

Stay warm, be safe, careful on the ice, as it happens quick with a fall as well. Contact me for news articles to print in here. Hello to all the guys at MSP.
