Junior Firefighter Program

Teens aged 14 to 18 from Belfast, Belmont, Morrill, Searsmont and Waldo are invited to become junior firefighters in their volunteer fire departments. Parental permission is required.  Five to six class sessions will be offered in February, with the dates to be set after class membership is established.

The course will be both classroom and hands-on, and organizers will try to work around school and sports commitments.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Cathy Reynolds. Cathy will be missed by everyone that knew her. Cathy was such a wonderful person, had a big heart and she always had a smile on her face. We all are going to miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
