BELFAST — “Celebration of the Seasons,” an exhibit of watercolors by Anne Cronin, are on display in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library through Feb. 28. The Kramer Gallery, located on the library’s ground floor at 106 High St., is open during library hours.

Cronin is a native of Maine now living in Camden. She received her degree in art and design at the Cambridge School of Design. Her watercolor paintings and ink drawings of land and seascapes of both Maine and Southern California have been shown at Small Wonder Gallery in Camden, Bartlett Woods in Rockland, and River Arts Gallery in Damariscotta. She has been a member of Art Alliance in Belfast and Art Space in Rockland and was among a group of artists who participated in the Camden-based stroke survivor group show and has had a solo show at Quarry Hill in Camden.

An inspiration to her friends and fellow artists, Cronin has continued to paint and draw many years after a stroke, further developing as an artist and finding inspiration in the natural world around her.
