With the storm likely to continue into Monday evening, Jan. 23, bringing more than a foot of snow to most of Maine, a number of closures have been announced.
Waldo County General Hospital will close all outpatient practices at noon today, Jan. 23. This includes primary care practices, specialists and walk-in care. Patients whose appointments will be affected by these closures will be notified by phone. The Emergency Department will remain open. WCGH is expected to resume regular hours of operation tomorrow, Jan. 24.
City of Belfast non-emergency facilities are closed Monday.
Belfast Soup Kitchen is closed.
Waldo County government offices are closed.
The Maine Legislature in Augusta is closed.
Belfast District Court is closed.
Waldo County Community Action Partners office is closed.
The Islesboro Town Office is closed. Islesboro Health Center is closed. A parking ban at Grindle Point is in effect from noon Monday until 6:30 a.m. Tuesday for snow removal.
Lincolnville Town Office is closed.
Montville Town Office is closed.
Searsport Town Office is closed.
Searsmont Town Office is closed.
Stockton Springs Town Office is closed.
Bucksport Area Senior Center is closed.

Cornerspring Montessori School
Edna Drinkwater School
Unity College
Bucksport Christian School
Erskine Academy, China
