Hello All,

Finally got my laptop to work for me. The battery is old, I guess. Makes it hard to connect to the internet. Who knows. It snowed several inches of fluffy snow, but hear we are getting more very soon. It’s winter.

(Also Maine law says all cats must be vaccinated against rabies and given a rabies shot. Even indoor cats. I didn’t know this about the cats. Read this from Heidi Anderson’s post as she’s an ACO.) License your dogs before Feb. 1 or pay a state-mandated fee of $25. per animal plus registration fee.

Benefit sale

A bake sale to benefit Lucious Nichols will be held at Mac’s Hardware on Feb. 4, 9-11 a.m. Support this young man.

Benefit potluck

At the Liberty Community Hall on Thursday, Jan. 26. Starts at 5 p.m., by donation, benefiting the Dickie Emery family on his death.

Every Tuesday

On Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m. at the Thorndike Town Office, senior/retiree activities. Come and play games, etc., or just socialize with friends and neighbors.

Benefit music show

For Brice Sinclair and Marylyn Wood Sinclair at the Belfast Post 43 American Legion Hall on Jan. 29, starting at 1 p.m. They were fire victims, losing their home recently. Supposed to be a good line-up of musicians.

A happy 83rd birthday to Ralph Nason! Racin’ Nason. Hope he has many more.

Until next time,

Be safe. Be warm. And be kind. Praying we don’t lose power.
