Hello Monroe!

The first of a series of storms lining up to hit Maine has been a true winter beauty. We’re lucky enough to be hosting cousins Evie and Emmett from Skowhegan for the weekend. Oliver, and Nolan, appreciate the new distraction and playmates to fill the hours. The mudroom is full of wet snow gear and puddles on the floor, signs of healthy doses of fresh air, with red cheeks and noses to match. These types of weekends call for hot chocolate in fancy cups and pancakes with chocolate chips.

Worth celebrating

Congratulations to Brooklyn Brown, one of Monroe’s newest licensed drivers! Enjoy the privileges and drive safe, Brook.

Bernys and David Doak were recognized at a recent UMaine Women’s Basketball Game and given a big thank you for being season ticket holders and supporters of the program for the last 33 years. Bernys said, “Amy Vachon is a very caring coach and very appreciative of their season ticket holders.” The Doaks have also supported the men’s basketball program at UMaine for 34 years. Impressive, and hope you have many more seasons to cheer on!
