Authors in conversation at Left Bank Books

BELFAST — Left Bank Books, 109 Church St., invites the public to meet writer, entrepreneur and social justice advocate Marilyn Moss Rockefeller as she discusses her new memoir, “Mountain Girl: From Barefoot to Boardroom,” Sunday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. Joining Rockefeller in conversation is acclaimed author Susan Conley, whose most recent novel, “Landslide,” was a New York Times Editor’s Pick and a “Must Read” from O Magazine.

From growing up in the mountains of West Virginia to the executive suite of a million-dollar company to marrying into one of the country’s most famous families, Rockefeller’s life has been, as she’s said “well-lived, and a hoot to boot.” Her childhood may read like a sad country song, but heartbreak and pain only fueled her determination to grab the world and ride it with a dynamic combination of guts, luck, charm and intellect.
