Belfast Area High School’s valedictorian plans to attend Bowdoin

Salutatorian is Jonah Lovejoy, son of Johanna Peterson and Jeff Lovejoy, BAHS principal. Jonah will attend the University of Chicago in the fall, studying molecular engineering with a specialization in sustainable energy and water resources.

Ranking third in the class of 2022 is Grace Hall.  The daughter of Charity Hall and Roderick Hall, Grace has lived in Swanville and the greater Belfast area all her life. Grace will attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, studying biomedical engineering with a minor in health, medicine and society, on a pre-med track.

Other top students in the BAHS class of 2022 are Ronin DeSchamps and Madison Shorey.
