    No injuries in Belmont crash

    There were no injuries in a crash on Route 131 in Belmont Jan. 11. At about 2:20 p.m., Paul R. Boisclair, 25, of Waldo attempted to pass a line of vehicles in a 2003 Chevrolet on Searsmont Road as a 2003 Dodge van, driven by James W.     Fifth District Court

    The following cases were closed in Fifth District Court in Belfast between Dec. 28 and Jan. 1. Michael A.     Vehicle strikes pedestrian in Route 220 accident

    Bad week for cruisers

    A Waldo County Sheriff's office cruiser and a Belfast Police cruiser were involved in separate crashes this week.     Stockton Springs man arrested for gross sexual assault

    Following an investigation by the Belfast Police Department and the Waldo County Sheriff's Office, a 52-year-old Stockton Springs man has been charged with gross sexual assault. Steven Watson was arrested by police on Jan. 1.
