Adonis Rising plays Threshers

Searsmont — Rob Dunbar Productions will welcome Adonis Rising back to Waldo County for a Saturday, July 14, family-friendly show at Threshers Brewing Company, in the Sprowl Lumber complex at 22 Main St./Route 131. The concert runs 6 to 10 p.m., emceed by Zane Cole from DJ  Z Lite & Entertainment.

Adonis Rising had a lead singer change and went back into the studio for about a year with its new lineup. Ian Maddox is the new lead singer. The band writes their own songs and have some new ones to share; and they do covers of tunes by ZZ Top, The Knack, The Beatles and Tom Petty, to name a few.

The stage is outside, so bringing lawn chairs is encouraged. The bar will be open inside for those 21 and older, and there will be a beer station outside for 21. Advance tickets are $5, $10 day of show. Tickets can be bought via Rob Dunbar Productions on Facebook or calling 505-2582; there also may be some at the Threshers bar.
