Limoges leads songwriting workshop

Belfast — The Belfast Free Library, 106 High St., will welcome singer/songwriter Alice Limoges Monday, July 23, at 3:30 p.m. for a songwriting workshop for teens as part of the Libraries Rock! summer reading program.

Participants will learn the basics of writing lyrics, chords and melody; and have the opportunity to perform what they’ve written at an open mic following the class. Limoges also will give a short performance of her own music.
