Midcoast Forecast - May 23, 2019 PM

Thursday has been another good one across the Midcoast with sunny and warm weather with highs climbing into the 60s to near 70 for inland locations. Clouds built in during the mid to late afternoon as our next round of rain approaches. Showers will move in during the evening and early night as low pressure tracks in from the west. This will bring rounds of showers continuing through the night and early Friday morning with around 1/4" to 1/2" of accumulation. Rain will come to an end around noon Friday with gradual clearing into the afternoon with highs only reaching the 50s.

Memorial Day weekends is looking good with partly to mostly sunny skies on Saturday with highs into the 70s. Another round of rain will move in overnight, clearing early Sunday morning with another 1/4" to 1/2" of accumulation. We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with a chance for a pop up showers but it will stay nice and warm with highs again in the low to mid 70s. The pleasant weather continues Monday with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs around 70. Another round of rain will move in Tuesday followed by partial clearing Wednesday.
