Midcoast Forecast - May 24, 2019 PM

The round of rain that moved through the Midcoast Thursday night is gradually clearing with rain ending early Friday and clouds hanging on through much of the day. The clouds and breezy north winds have made for cooler temperatures with highs in the 50s. High pressure will build in from the west through the overnight allowing for skies to gradually clear as we move into the weekend.

Memorial Day weekend is looking good with mostly sunny skies giving way to increasing clouds on Saturday with highs into the 70s. Another round of rain will move in overnight, clearing early Sunday morning with 1/4" to 1/2" of accumulation. We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with a chance for a pop up showers but it will stay nice and warm with highs again in the low to mid 70s. The pleasant weather continues Monday with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs around 70. Another round of rain will move in Tuesday followed by partial clearing Wednesday.
