Montville selectmen are looking to appoint someone to fill in as Regional School Unit 3 School Board representative until next year’s town meeting. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in the position, please let Jeanne Coleman know at 342-5543 or email her at

Wild Grace Farm officially open. Come shop fresh produce grown right there on the farm, local meat, eggs, dairy, jams, pasta, maple syrup, honey, coffee, tea, bread, and much more. Stay for a bit and grab a bite to eat at the cafe. The menu is a bit limited as they start out but they will be adding to it in the coming weeks. Right now they have paninis, salads, baked goods, and coffee and tea.

The farm store will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 5 Bolin Hill Extension Road in Liberty.

Peavey's General Store on Route 3 in Montville is looking for part-time cashiers, kitchen help and people for their ice cream shop. Stop by and pick up an application today.

Dewey's Lumber on Route 3 is overflowing with cedar shavings! Great bedding for your critters. We sell them by the bag, pickup or dump truck load. They are at 140 Kager Mountain Road in Liberty. For more information, call 589-4126.

Scholarship available

Applications for the Town of Liberty Willard A. Overlock Scholarship Fund are now being accepted for the 2019-2020 college year. The scholarship may be presented to any Liberty resident of at least five years, who completed a year of post-secondary education, and plans to attend any branch of the University of Maine.

Applications should be a report of not more than one page. State the applicant’s name, address, and campus attending. Write a brief statement of need and any unusual circumstances that make the need of the fund especially essential. Declare any other funds or grants you expect to receive.
