Nature walk July 13: What's So Special about Fields?

Belfast — Coastal Mountains Land Trust's Nature Program presents "What’s So Special About Fields?" on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to noon at Head of Tide Preserve.

Aaron Megquier, botanist and executive director of Friends of Baxter State Park, and Maine Master Naturalist Roger Rittmaster will lead a walk focusing on the interplay of forests and fields and the complex web of life that inhabits this ecosystem.

Meet in the Head of Tide Preserve’s parking lot at 85 Doak Road in Belfast.
