Weather Brief Jul 16, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - July 16, 2019 PM

We are enjoying another sunny day Tuesday with high pressure built in from the south with temperatures rising to the 80s for most locations. Temperatures will stay relatively mild in the 60s overnight as humidity rises ahead of our next rain maker. A warm front will move through during the overnight that could touch off a brief shower but the most organized rain will arrive for the afternoon and evening Wednesday ahead of a cold front moving in from the west. We'll see increasing clouds Wednesday morning with showers and storms arriving during the midday hours with periods through the afternoon. Showers may contain embedded storms that could become strong. Showers will clear overnight as the front moves offshore and high pressure builds in from the northwest. This will bring pleasant and less humid air for the late week with highs in the 70s to low 80s. Temperatures will crank up during the weekend with highs reaching the 90s for most on Saturday and Sunday. Showers and storms will return Monday cooling us back down for the early week.
