Weather Brief Aug 13, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - August 13, 2019 PM

A slow moving cold front pushing south through New England has made for a cloudy day Tuesday with periods of light rain and isolated thunderstorms. This will gradually push offshore Tuesday night and into Wednesday allowing for high pressure to build in from the north and west. This high will usher in slightly cooler and less humid air for the mid week as clouds clear revealing partly to mostly sunny skies. The high will hold in place through Thursday with another pleasant day in store before a few spotty showers and storms return to the Midcoast on Friday. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds for the upcoming weekend with a low chance for rain followed by the return of more summer time heat with temperatures climbing into the 80s at the coast with a few 90s inland and across far southwest Maine.
