Midcoast Forecast - December 6, 2019 PM

A round of light snow is moving through the Midcoast Friday  as a clipper system moves through with a trace to up to 1" of snow possible late in the day. The cold trend continues into the start of the weekend despite mostly sunny skies with lows in the teens and highs in the 20s. The cold wont last long with southwest winds increasing Sunday ushering in milder air through the day and into the early week as a slow moving front approaches from the west. We'll see increasing clouds through Sunday with rain moving in ahead of this front on Monday as highs climb into the 40s. A heavier rain will move in Monday night and Tuesday as temperatures continue to warm into the mid 50s. We'll see rainfall totals ranging between 1" to 2" that could result in minor flooding when combind with snow melt. The front will move through on Wednesday with pockets of flurries through the day as cold air begins to rush back in. We'll continue to cool into the late week with highs dipping into the 30s Wednesday, then upper teens and low 20s Thursday.
