Midcoast Forecast - December 10, 2019 PM

Rain will change to snow overnight as a cold front moves through the region making for light accumulations of a dusting to 1" early Wednesday morning. The front will usher in colder air for Wednesday bringing temperatures back to more seasonable readings with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s Wednesday. A secondary cold front will move through Wednesday night that will usher in another shot of reinforcing cold air with lows dipping into the teens and highs into the low 20s Thursday despite the return of mostly sunny skies. Winds will turn out of the south on Friday raising temperatures back into the 30s with increasing clouds through the day. An area of low pressure will move up the east coast on Saturday pushing another slug of soaking rain into the region as temperatures climb back into the 50s. Skies will gradually clear Sunday as colder and drier air pushes back in with highs into the 40s, then 20s Monday setting the stage for potential snow on Tuesday.
