To the Editor:

I write this letter to congratulate Senator David Miramant on his reelection on Tuesday.

It has been my sincere honor to run for the office of Maine State Senate District 12. The support I received from voters throughout Knox County is humbling, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to have learned so much about our wonderful Midcoast communities in Knox County.

I want to thank my wife Janet, my children, and my grandson Luke for their patience and love. I also want to thank my treasurer, Dennis Norton, and deputy treasurer, Linda Post, and everyone who stepped forward to offer their expertise and experience.

As we move forward from this point in time, please join me in wishing Senator Miramant nothing but success in his service to the residents and taxpayers of Senate District 12.

Revive Civility!

I really liked that I saw nothing negative from either candidate in this election.  Gordon Page and Dave Miramant modeled campaigning perfectly.

Trump could learn a few things from a self respecting man, like Gordon Page.
