Saturday, March 10

Palermo, elections Friday, March 9, 3 to 7 p.m. at Palermo Town Office. Town meeting March 10, 9 a.m., in Palermo Consolidated School gymnasium.

Searsport, elections Tuesday, March 6, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Dan Rich Public Safety Building. Town meeting March 10, 9 a.m. in Union Hall. Board of Selectmen candidates seeking a three-year term are Thomas Hodgkins, Arthur Koch Jr., Doug Norman (incumbent) and Linda Payson. Seeking re-election to the RSU 20 Board of Directors is Anthony Bagley.

Swanville, elections Friday, March 9, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Town Office; town meeting March 10, 10 a.m., Kermit Nickerson Elementary School. One selectman and one RSU 71 director will be decided by write-in ballot.

Saturday, March 17

Brooks, 1 p.m., The Varney Building.

Burnham, elections Friday, March 16, 2 to 7 p.m., Town Office; town meeting March 17, 1 p.m., Town Office.

Freedom, elections Friday, March 16, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; town meeting March 17, 10 a.m., Freedom Grange Hall. On the ballot: selectman, assessor and overseer of the poor, three-year term, Stephen Bennett; clerk, tax collector, and excise tax collector, all one-year terms, Cynthia Abbott; treasurer, one-year term, Ernestine Keller; school board representative, vacant. Ellie Hess is running as a write-in candidate for RSU 3 Board of Directors.

Jackson, 9:30 a.m., Jackson Community Center.

Knox, elections Friday, March 16; town meeting March 17, 10 a.m., Town Office. Lucas Bryant is running unopposed for second selectman. Garret Hubbard and John Wentworth are running for one seat on the RSU 3 Board of Directors.

Morrill, 9:30 a.m., Community Center.

Thorndike, 9 a.m., Town Office.

Troy, 9 a.m., Troy Central School.

Monday, March 19

Belmont, 7:30 p.m., Town Hall next to Town Office.

Saturday, March 24

Liberty, 9 a.m., Liberty Community Building. One selectmen, one RSU 3 director and one Budget Committee member will be decided.

Montville, 10 a.m., Montville Town House.

Unity, elections Friday, March 23, noon to 8 p.m., Town Office; town meeting March 24, 10 a.m., Unity Elementary School gymnasium. Dan McCormick is running for selectman.

Friday, March 30

Frankfort, 7 p.m., Leroy H. Smith Elementary School, 319 South Main St., Winterport.

Saturday, March 31

Waldo, 9 a.m., Waldo Town Hall and Community Center; informal breakfast 8 a.m.
