The Belfast Co-op Cookbook Needs Your Recipes

By Caryn Knudsen | Jan 30, 2009

Belfast — It's hard to believe that it's been over 20 years since the Belfast
Co-op published it's first cookbook filled with our member's and customer's recipes, but it has! We think it's about time we do another!

We have begun to gather recipes and would like to invite everyone in our surrounding communities to send in their favorite ones to be included.
The book will be published this spring, and available for sale at the Co-op by mid July.

Recipes that include local and organic ingredients are encouraged, but not required. Your favorite vegetarian/vegan and gluten free dishes would also be welcomed.

Please send in as many as you wish. Every person submitting recipes will receive full recognition.

The catagories are:
Appetizers, dips & sauces
Soups, salads & sandwiches
Vegetables & side dishes
Main Courses
Breads & rolls
Cookies & candies
Beverages & misc.

Recipe forms may be picked up and dropped off at the Co-op, but for total convenience you may also email your recipes to:

Your submissions should include:
Full cooking instructions with the ingredients.
The catagory it fits under.
If your dish is vegetarian or vegan or gluten free.
Your name & contact information.

Submission deadline is February 28th, so come on and get cookin' everyone! Dig out those fabulous recipes and send them in!

If you'd like further information, please stop in the Co-op or call and ask to speak to Caryn.
