Belfast — Waterfall Arts will stage another art takeover of the Belfast Harbor Walk with AAAH: Big Draw Meets Chalk Walk Saturday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Big Draw is an annual celebration encouraging communities around the globe to do some doodling together. This year, Waterfall Arts is combining its annual Big Draw event with the Chalk Walk. This summer, Waterfall Arts staged its first Chalk Walk on the Harbor Walk at Heritage Park to the delight of doodlers young and old. AAAH: Big Draw meets Chalk Walk will be staged from the Heritage Park area of the Harbor Walk; look for the info table for more day-of information.

Professional artists will be working on reserved squares of blacktop and there will be plenty of chalk for everyone to add their own design to the community pathway. Participants can explore games and fun photo ops as while checking out large-scale works in progress around Heritage Park. In case of bad weather, the drawing fun will be moved to Waterfall Arts with tons of activities for all ages.

For more information in advance of the event, call the Waterfall Arts office at 338-2222 or visit waterfallarts.org.
