Aces wild, come fast-and-furious at Country View Golf Course

Rose, Merry, Bureau knock tee shots into the holes in five-day span

Brooks — Holes-in-one seemingly have been coming at a fast-and-furious pace at the Country View Golf Course.

In a five-day span, three aces were recorded at the course. Another was made earlier this season.

On Monday, June 4, Ken Rose of Jackson recorded a hole-in-one on the 140-yad, par-3 fourth hole. He used a 5-iron for his first career ace. Richard Johnson witnessed the hole-in-one.

On Friday, June 1, Tom Bureau of Benton recorded an ace on the 145-yard, par-3 ninth hole. He used a pitching wedge for his first career hole-in-one. Garth Coleman witnessed the tee shot.

On Thursday, March 31, John Merry of Swanville recorded a hole-in-one on the 140-yard, par-3 fourth hole. He used a 6-iron for his first career ace. The hole-in-one was witnessed by Mike Cunningham and Vincent Bryant.
