Airmen complete basic training

San Antonio — U.S. Air Force Airmen Benjamin D. Arsenault and Jayme Marcellino have graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Arsenault is the son of David B. Arsenault of Burnham and Debra D. Raines of Deep Run, N.C. He is a 2017 graduate of Maine Central Institue in Pittsfield.

Marcellino is the son of Debbie Blythe and stepson of Thomas Blythe of Palermo. He is also the son of Peter Marcellino and stepson of Cindy Stafford of Sidney. He graduated in 2014 from Erskine Academy in South China.
