An Advent Quiet Day at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church

An Advent Quiet Day will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church 11 White Street in Rockland on Saturday December 16th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. St. Peter’s is the red church with the open door, conveniently located in Downtown Rockland next to the public library.

The pre-Christmas season can be hectic with many competing demands for our attention, and it is easy to be distracted from the spiritual aspects of the season. You are invited to take time and space to return to your own spiritual center; let this Advent Quiet Day be an answer to these hectic, sometimes overly busy days. Sponsored by the Pastoral Care Committee at St. Peter's, the rector (the Rev. Lael Sorensen) will lead a guided Quiet Day with brief meditations on the season followed by plenty of time for quiet reflection. This spiritual half-day retreat is free and open to the public. Snacks and a light lunch will be provided. For more information, please contact the St. Peter’s parish administrator at 207.594.8191.
