April Turner, Candidate for Maine House District 99

April Turner, Democratic Candidate for Maine House District 99, which encompasses the nine Waldo County towns of Burnham, Unity, Freedom, Troy, Thorndike, Jackson, Knox, Brooks, and Monroe, will be discussing plans for representing her district with Jennifer Hill on “Finding Common Ground” live at noon, Saturday, September 8, on WBFY Belfast Community Radio at 100.9 FM, streaming live at belfastcommunityradio.org (where recordings of past shows can be heard on the archive page).

April has a master’s degree from the University of Maine in social work and is employed by Kennebec Valley Community Action Program to help families experiencing mental health issues. She lives in Freedom and serves her community by volunteering for many local organizations, including the Jackson Food Pantry and Maine AllCare.
