Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine endorses Crafts for U.S. House

Oct 12, 2020

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine has endorsed Dale Crafts for Congress in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. The association cited his record of unwavering support of the trades, vocational programs, and defending the principles of merit shop construction.

During Crafts’ time in the Legislature, he cut red tape and made it easier for contractors in Maine to run their business, while working with former Gov. Paul LePage to implement the largest tax cut in the history of the state, the association said in its announcement.

“As the chair of Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine (ABC), an association devoted to advancing and defending the principles of merit shop construction, and on behalf of its Board of Directors, general membership and staff, it is my honor to formally endorse Dale Crafts for Congress in Maine’s 2nd District,” said Tawnya Brown, who chairs ABC Maine’s board. “As a champion for free enterprise and advocate for growing Maine’s economy, we believe Dale embodies the best of what we, as Mainers, have come to expect from our leadership in Washington.”

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association with 69 chapters representing more than 21,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms.
